  When conveying dusty gases and abrasive media in rough operating environments, industrial fans must be particularly resistant and ensure high efficiency.

  Areas of application

  Wear-protected industrial fans are used in the cement industry, but also in the wood industry and in the production of chipboard. Both cement dusts and wood chips are highly abrasive and place special demands on all components. A special tungsten carbide coating ensures maximum resistance here.

Sturdy for the highest requirements

Conveying and ripping fans are mainly used in the wood, paper and packaging industries or in the production of chipboard.

Applications include edge trim extraction or conveying of chips. Sturdy impellers, blockage-free material guidance and vibration-insensitive bearing designs are the main features here.

Application areas

Conveying and ripping fans are used not only in the wood, paper and packaging industries, but also in the textile industry. One application is the production of textile fibers, e.g. for baby diapers.

  Particularly in potentially explosive environments, where flammable gases and dusts have to be moved, special measures are required to ensure a high safety standard.

  Our explosion-proof fans are built as well as designed according to ATEX guidelines and comply with EN 14986:2017, category II G or D (G only explosion-proof group II A, II B and hydrogen) and III G or D.

For high plant resistances

High-pressure fans are used where relatively high system resistances have to be overcome by high pressure, e.g. in process engineering, the chemical industry or waste incineration.

The high pressures are generated by high circumferential speeds. The necessary circumferential speeds can be achieved by a suitable combination of size and speed. High circumferential speeds also require special materials and manufacturing processes to ensure operational reliability and durability.

• For high system pressures

  For permanently high system pressures greater than 0.5 bar, pressure-resistant fans require a pressure-resistant design in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (DRGL) in conjunction with the AD2000 data sheets.

  On the other hand, pressure shock resistant fans can also be manufactured according to e.g. VDI 2263. In this case, manufacture and calculation are also carried out in accordance with the AD2000 data sheets.
